The Brilliant blue sky and lake 輝く青空と湖

今日のYorkの天気は一日の中に四季があると言っても過言ではないようでした。

朝は寒くて、ニットを着ていても十分なほどで、授業が終わった16時にはさわやかな風と共に、太陽が顔を出し、青空が広がり、その青がそのままキャンパスの湖に映えていました。



It was not too much to say that there were four seasons in a day of today.
While it was enough cold to wear a knit in this morning, the bracing wind blew and the sun peeped through the clouds with clear blue skies which reflected on the surface of the lake in the campus when I finished my class at 4.00 pm.

そして、今日ははじめてまともな夕食を手作りしました。一品だけだけれど、サーモンとアスパラガスのパスタ。
I  cooked a decent meal for dinner for the first time to come here.
It was a pasta with salmon and asparagus though just one dish.


小さな鍋しかなかったので、パスタを茹でるのにやや苦労しましたが、美味しかったです。
I had difficulties in boiling pasta as I had just a milk-pan for cooking.  However, it was so delicious.

The First Sunday's night. はじめての日曜の夜

めちゃドラマチックに渡英、というと聞こえはいいですが、松本清張の物語ばりのドタバタでイギリスに来て4日、初めての日曜の夜です。

やっと落ち着いてブログを始めることができました。その名も「Time of my life 〜てるみん渡英記」とつけました。
Time of one's life というのは、Green Dayの "Time of your life"という好きな歌があり、「一生に一度の（今までにないほどの・またとないような・非常に）楽しいひととき」という意味になります。

 The first Sunday's night has come since I arrived here in York.
I've finally started my own blog named "Time of my life〜Account of Terumin's Stay in UK."
I named the "Time of my life" after one of the Green Day's songs, "Time of your life." The expression means "the once-in-a-lifetime precious moment."
